DOWNGRADING OF VISA

Who can apply?	Foreign Nationals who shall apply for the reversion of their immigration visa to temporary visitor/tourist to continue to stay legally in the Philippines
Where to apply?	BI Main Office 降签需要到BI主办公楼就是马尼拉移民局

How to apply?	Present the letter request for downgrading and other requirements.出示降签申请和相关文件 Get the Order of Payment Slip.拿到付款账单 Pay the required immigration fees.付款 Get the Official Receipt.收到付款凭据 Submit official receipt with the other requirements for downgrading.提交付款凭据和相关文件 If approved, present passport for implementation.如果通过，出示护照 Claim the passport stamped with the downgraded visa.领取降签后的护照
How much does it cost? 价格	Downgrading of status from another category to 9(a) 降签费用总共PHP5030 ITEM DISCRIPTION AMOUNT Application Fee PHP 2, 000. 00 Certification Fee 500. 00 Express Fee 1, 000. 00 Legal Research Fee (LRF) for each immigration fee 20. 00 Updated Fee (if the application is filed with/in 59 days after the expiration of the visa 1, 000. 00 MR (if the application is filed beyond 59 days after the expiration of the visa 510. 00 TOTAL Add: Monthly extension fees, penalties and charges, depending on the length of overstay PHP 5, 030. 00 Visa Extension Beyond 59 Days After Visa was Downgraded降签后转为的旅游签，如果延期59天的费用PHP4560 ITEM DISCRIPTION AMOUNT Application Fee PHP 300. 00 Amendment 500. 00 Certification Fee 500. 00 ECC 700. 00 Visa Free 1, 000. 00 Extension Fee 500. 00 Legal Research Fee (LRF) for each immigration fee 60. 00 Express Fee 1, 000. 00 TOTAL PHP 4, 560. 00 ADD: If expired ext Fine 500. 00 MR 500.00 Legal Research Fee 10. 00 *Fees are updated as of 06 March 2014 and may change without prior notice.
