ACR I-卡是一种，信用卡大小的芯片卡，颁发给所有注册的外国人在留在菲律宾已经超过了59（59）天身份证。这将取代纸质ACR。

ACR-I, Alien Certificate for Registration Identity Card (外國人身份登記卡)》辦理地點在菲律賓移民局 (BI)，請準備好 2 張 2 x 2 的照片，填申請表，然後索取按指紋的硬紙卡，填寫背面資料，因為需要完整手指紋，工作人員會抓住你的手將指紋一一按上，後返回櫃檯將指紋輸入電腦，然後交費，再去視窗拍照。大約三周後，便可以取得 ACR-I Card，該卡和普通信用卡大小差不多。該外僑身份證，是一種微型的信用卡大小的身份證，取代紙質的舊 ACR。裡頭嵌入電腦晶片，記載個人的生物特徵資料，可以以電子方式更新。(ACR-I Card 有效期間: 12個月)

簽證種類授 / 批准日期 / 簽發日期 / 本證失效日期
生物識別資訊 (2 數位指紋範本)

ACR 的和 ICR / NBCR / CRTV / CRTT / CRTS 和 CRPE 的號碼

To open a bank account in the Philippines you need an ACR I-card (Alien Certificate of Registration card). You may be able to open an account with just your passport and another form of ID other than the ACR. Some banks will accept an Immigrant Certificate of Registration (ICR) as proof of your residency. You will have to go to the bank in person to open an account and if you you don’t have an ACR card you might have to have a meeting with the bank manager.

Once you have your ACR card it is a fairly straightforward process. You will need your passport (or another photo ID), one passport-sized photo and proof of your address such as a utility bill or rental contract. You then fill in the forms at the bank and make the minimum deposit. You can get a bank book for making withdrawals and deposits straight away, but you will need to wait to receive your debit card in the post.

The bank you choose will depend on many factors, predominantly where you live and what you want to do with your money. If you will be making a lot of international transfers it might be better to choose a multi-national bank such as HSBC, Citibank or Deutsch Bank AG. Branches of all major banks can be found in most cities across the country.
