PlayCity Casino has expanded its partnership with Konami Gaming, adding a selection of the provider’s slot titles to its online platform, playcity.com, as part of its broader omni-channel strategy in Mexico.
Key points:
- Konami Gaming and PlayCity Casino have launched Konami’s slot games for online play at playcity.com in Mexico
- Titles include Cobra Hearts, China Shores and All Aboard Dynamite Dash, accessible via desktop and mobile
- The partnership builds on a long-standing collaboration between the two companies in Mexico’s land-based casino market
PlayCity Casino has launched Konami Gaming’s slot titles for real-money wagering on its online platform, playcity.com.
The agreement extends the existing collaboration between the two companies, which has been focused on land-based casino operations, to Mexico’s regulated online gaming sector.
The rollout features several of Konami’s titles, including Cobra Hearts, China Shores, Chili Chili Fire and All Aboard Dynamite Dash. These games are available on mobile, tablet and desktop devices through Konami’s remote gaming server (RGS).
José Fernando López Perez, PlayCity Casino Product Director, stated: “We are very excited to add Konami games to our online platform. We know the brand from our land-based business and really look forward to a successful partnership online.”
Eduardo Aching, VP of International Gaming Operations at Konami Gaming, added: “Across the business, PlayCity Casino has prioritised player convenience, service and engagement, with outstanding success. This launch is the latest example of the organisation’s commitment to providing safe and easy entertainment access, quality and variety, which Konami is thrilled to support with a long list of fan-favourite content.”
Good to know: PlayCity operates 17 land-based casino venues across 11 Mexican states and has positioned its online platform as an extension of its physical locations
Earlier in 2024, Konami launched its first online gaming operations outside the US and Canada through Paraguay’s Slots del Sol Online.
The company also made changes to its leadership structure, appointing Chris Rowe as VP of North American Game Sales and Shane Thompson as Director of Sales to oversee growth initiatives.
The introduction of Konami’s content to PlayCity’s platform comes amid rising demand for online gaming in Mexico, where operators continue to expand offerings to meet player preferences.
