Seasoned iGaming executive appointed Deputy CEO with aim to drive expansion and growth.
Supplier iGP has appointed Jovana Popovic Canaki as Deputy CEO. This appointment is part of iGP's strategy to expand into new markets and enhance services for existing customers.
Popovic Canaki, who will report to CEO Giovanni Paticchio, brings 17 years of leadership experience in the iGaming industry.
Popovic Canaki's career includes roles such as VP Partner Success at Aspire Global, Managing Director and CEO of Masterpiece Gaming and Director of Business Unit iGaming Platform and Services at Bragg Gaming. Her experience spans both B2B and B2C sectors.
Popovic Canaki commented on her new role, stating: “I have always been determined to contribute towards growth in all my previous roles in the iGaming industry and it excites me when a company begins to make headway in the market as iGP are currently doing. I am proud to be a part of iGP’s journey and look forward to getting started.”
This appointment is the latest step in iGP’s senior management restructuring aimed at supporting its growth into new iGaming verticals and geographies. The company has been actively involved in several initiatives to expand its market presence.
In May 2024, iGP integrated content from the game studio Peter & Sons into its iGaming Deck, making titles like Barbarossa, Book of Books, DragonBlox and Peter Hunter available to its operator partners globally.
This integration followed a similar agreement in April 2024 with Gaming Corps, which partnered with iGP to distribute its crash, mine, table and slot games to a wider audience.
