The company’s successful compliance with Brazil’s regulatory framework is part of its mission to expand operations in the Latin American gaming market.
Key points:
- Digitain secures certification to operate under Brazil’s updated gaming standards
- Compliance ensures access to one of the fastest-growing regulated gaming markets globally
- Certification follows a series of leadership changes, including the appointment of a new CCO in Malta
Digitain has achieved certification under Brazil’s updated gaming regulations, positioning itself among the first game and software suppliers to meet the new compliance standards.
The certification, conducted by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), confirms that Digitain’s software and gaming solutions meet Brazil’s revised standards, introduced in 2024. These updates stress player protection, stricter operational oversight and higher quality assurance benchmarks for gaming providers.
Good to know: Digitain obtained a gambling licence in the UK back in September
Arshak Muradyan, Digitain Chief Compliance Officer, stated: “The certification process, conducted by an authorised testing laboratory of GLI (Gaming Laboratories International), ensures that our products meet the high standards of quality and fairness mandated by Brazilian regulators.”
Digitain’s entry into the Brazilian market is expected to increase its global presence and strengthen partnerships with local operators.
Digitain Chief Sales Officer Ani Mkrtchyan noted: “By adhering to the highest standards of compliance, we ensure the integrity of the industry and position ourselves and our partners for continued success in one of the world's fastest-growing gaming markets.”
This month has seen Digitain expand its leadership team, promoting Gil Soffer to CCO of its Malta operations. This followed the appointment of Aida Vardanyan as CEO of Digitain Malta.
