Participants in the QMRA program benefit from several key resources, including a detailed compliance report.
Key points:
- QMRA extends its affiliate compliance certification program to the Australian market
- Members receive compliance reports and online certificates, aiming to aid in regulatory adherence
- A number of companies have already adopted QMRA as part of their compliance strategies
Quality Mark Responsible Affiliates (QMRA) has announced the expansion of its compliance certification program to include the Australian market.
Launched in early 2024 by XY Legal Solutions, QMRA builds upon the success of its Dutch predecessor, KVA, which has garnered support from major operators and over 90 members since its 2021 inception.
QMRA certification provides affiliates with compliance reports, online certificates verifying website compliance and access to consultation on compliance-related matters.
The program, which already operates in multiple jurisdictions including Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Germany and various US states, has attracted a range of industry players such as Leadstar Media, ADM Group, BetFans and Game Lounge.
Now, the expansion into Australia marks another milestone for QMRA, which has seen rapid adoption since its launch. Recent developments include Gentoo's integration of QMRA standards into its official company policy, demonstrated by the submission of its Swedish and German versions of Newcasinos.com for compliance review in October 2024.
Prior to this, Sitebee also partnered with QMRA to expand its compliance solutions.
Commenting on this decision, Rasmus Bank Nielsen, Head of Sitebee, said: “By integrating QMRA’s extensive legal knowledge, Sitebee empowers our clients with the latest regulatory insights, allowing them to operate with confidence in a highly dynamic market.
“This partnership gives operators the clarity and foresight they need to manage risk and maintain compliance across all regions where they operate.”
