It’s been a busy year for Wazdan and this new milestone marks another step in the company’s ongoing expansion efforts.
Key points:
- Wazdan obtains Danish gambling licence, expanding its regulated market presence
- The company has achieved multiple market entries in 2024, striking partnerships with operators across a variety of regulated jurisdictions
Wazdan has announced its successful licensing by Spillemyndigheden, Denmark’s gambling authority – marking another milestone in the company's ongoing international expansion efforts.
With a Danish licence, Wazdan can now offer its portfolio of games to operators in Denmark, bringing its titles to a new audience.
Good to know: This development caps a year of growth for Wazdan, with the company expanding into several new markets – including Pennsylvania, Italy and the Czech Republic – earlier this year.
Commenting on the development, a spokesperson for Wazdan stated: “Wazdan puts great emphasis on cooperating with the largest casino licensors to provide secure, transparent and rewarding partnerships with operators from all over the world.
“We’re proud to announce that our games are now fully licensed by Spillemyndigheden, bringing the true value of online gaining to Denmark.”
Its Danish licence adds to Wazdan's growing portfolio of regulated market approvals, following several significant market entries this year.
Back in September, for example, the company established its presence in Pennsylvania through a partnership with Rush Street Interactive (RSI), launching a range of titles such as 9 Coins Grand Gold Edition, Magic Spins and Hot Slot: 777 Crown on RSI's BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse platforms.
Prior to this, the company also expanded into Italy through a partnership with CasinoMania – introducing over 40 slot games to the Italian market.
