LeoVegas Group has continued its community support efforts with a €10,000 ($10,400) donation to L-Istrina, the annual Boxing Day telethon organised by the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation (MCCFF).
This contribution will help provide funding for individuals, including children, to access rare or costly medical treatments.
The L-Istrina fundraiser, a Maltese tradition since 1995, aims to unite the nation in support of those in need.
The €10,000 donation was presented during the telethon.
Commenting on the decision to support the initiative, Stefan Nelson, Group CFO and Managing Director at LeoVegas Group Malta, stated: “L-Istrina is a cherished Maltese tradition that brings the whole island together in support of individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.

This charitable initiative coincides with LeoVegas's recent EGBA membership, announced on 16 December 2024. The partnership aims to enhance industry standards across Europe, particularly in safer gambling practices and regulatory compliance – with a focus on Nordic markets.
