大陆有很多朋友在苹果商店（用美国ID登陆）下载的“蝙蝠”聊天软件其实都是假冒的。该假冒的App是由成都一家软件公司开发的（截至2021年1月17日），纯粹是模仿真“Bat Messenger”的图标和贴近的名字来诱惑使用者。真实的“Bat Messenger”在注册的时候是可以不用手机号和Email的。

Many friends in mainland China downloaded the "Bat" chat software from the Apple Store (logged in with a US ID). They are actually fakes. The counterfeit App was developed by a company in Chengdu China (until January 17, 2021). It is a replicate of the “Bat Messenger” icon and close name to lure users. The real "Bat Messenger" can be registered without cell phone number and email.
