Sportsbet.io has announced a two-year partnership agreement to become the title sponsor of three snooker tournaments: the Players Championship, Tour Championship and Champion of Champions.
The Sportsbet.io Players Championship, scheduled for 17-23 March 2025 at Telford International Centre, will feature the top 16 players from the season's one-year ranking list.
The Tour Championship follows from 31 March to 6 April in Manchester Central, with an exclusive field of the top 12 players.
Finally, the Champion of Champions, set for 10-16 November in Bolton, will showcase 16 tournament winners from the previous 12 months.
The tournaments are expected to feature prominent players including world number one Judd Trump, World Champion Kyren Wilson and other notable stars such as Mark Selby, Neil Robertson and Ronnie O'Sullivan.
Good to know: All three events will receive coverage through ITV and various international broadcasters
Commenting on the new deal, Peter Wright, CCO for WST, stated: “We are excited to team up with Yolo Group as they are known for their inventive approach to the digital world which is going to be an ever-changing landscape in years to come. They have a range of fabulous snooker events to help build the Sportsbet.io brand.
“The Players Series events are only for the best players on the one-year rankings so it rewards the players in form with places in these prestigious tournaments. Fans will pack the arenas in both Telford and Manchester and we look forward to working with the Yolo team over these events.”
This sponsorship expands Sportsbet.io's sports partnership portfolio, which already includes relationships with Newcastle United and Hull City – as well as a collaboration with LaLiga courtesy of a deal struck last October.
