Konami Gaming has been selected by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) as the exclusive provider for the next generation of BC Gold, the province's signature wide area progressive (WAP) slot product.

The agreement calls for a deployment of 245 new video slot machines, custom software and signage displays across 27 casino destinations in British Columbia by spring 2027.

The partnership marks an evolution for BC Gold, which has been a part of British Columbia's gaming landscape since 1999; for the first time, the traditionally mechanical reel-based game will be reimagined as a video slot experience.

The new BC Gold implementation will continue to feature its established two-tier progressive structure, offering players the chance to win a Mystery Gold Jackpot exceeding $100,000 and a Mystery Silver Jackpot of over $500.

These jackpots will remain linked across all BC Gold machines throughout the province.
