    - Hsu has overseen transactions exceeding $1tn and co-chaired the Victorian Bookmakers’ Association for 20 years

    - The appointment aligns with Apple iSports’ strategic growth plans, including potential Nasdaq up-listing and expansion into Australian and global markets

Apple iSports Group has appointed Lyndon Hsu to its Board of Directors.

Hsu, aged 59, brings experience in corporate finance and gaming, having held senior leadership roles at major financial institutions, including Standard Chartered, HSBC, Credit Suisse and ANZ Banking Group. His career includes advising on transactions worth over $1tn.

Hsu has also been a prominent figure in the gaming sector. He served as co-chairman of the Victorian Bookmakers’ Association for two decades and founded BetCloud, a wagering and data science company in Australia.

Joe Martinez, Apple iSports CEO, said: “His appointment will strengthen our leadership team as we continue to build Apple iSports into a global iGaming and entertainment company with a potential up-listing to the Nasdaq Stock Exchange when the timing is right. His connections in corporate finance and business as an executive and successful entrepreneur bring much-needed talent to our company.”

Marino Sussich, Founder and Board Member, added: “Mr Hsu’s unparalleled experience in corporate finance and leadership aligns perfectly with our vision for growth and innovation.”

Hsu commented: “I am deeply honoured to join the Board of Directors at Apple iSports, especially during the global dynamic change for the sectors we want to participate in.”

In August 2023, Apple iSports planned the acquisition of a 45% stake in The Leg Up Australia (TLU), a media and tipping company with a strong presence in the Australian market.
