Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino has launched a year-long celebration to honour Elvis Presley’s 90th birthday, commemorating the King of Rock 'n' Roll's legacy at the historic property where he performed 636 sold-out shows.
The festivities began with a champagne toast in the hotel lobby, led by Westgate President and GM Cami Christensen, alongside Elvis's stepbrother, David Stanley.
The lobby, transformed for the occasion, featured a memorabilia display and interactive opportunities for fans, including signing oversized birthday cards for the late music icon.
Stanley, who stars in the Westgate show My Brother Elvis: An Evening with David Stanley, shared personal stories about Presley, offering a unique perspective on his life and career.
The celebration includes a variety of Elvis-themed activities, from speciality cocktails at the International Bar to a tribute performance by The King Comes Home Elvis Tribute Show.
Events will continue throughout the year, with highlights such as February’s “Love Me Tender” Month and July’s “Viva Las Vegas” Month, featuring live music and themed promotions.
