CITY OF MEYCAUAYAN –– A 54-year-old businessman was killed while his driver was wounded when four armed men shot them on Thursday, police said.

Investigators said Jacob Mora, who owned gasoline stations, was on board his Toyota Fortuner when assailants attacked him and his driver John Patrick Uzon in Barangay Iba about 2 p.m

Police recovered from the crime scene 100 empty shells for an M-16 rifle and .45-caliber pistol, and two empty 30-round magazines for M-16 rifle.

Mora and Uzon were taken to a hospital but the businessman died while being treated
