My name is Mika, I am 26 years of existence. I am a college student at this age and took up a degree in Nursing. I entered this course at this age because my goal is to study and to become a respected professional in this field.
I can say that I am a responsible and a hard-working student. Moreover, being a sociable person, I have many friends since I like to communicate with people and get to know new interesting individuals. I enjoy my time at school: it is really nice to study and the students are very friendly and ready to help. The atmosphere cannot but make me want to go there every time. I like to receive and deal with challenging tasks. I am a very enthusiastic student and I think this is a strong point of mine.
My friends say that I am a very funny and an interesting person with a good sense of humor. As soon as I meet new people who are happy to meet me, I feel extremely comfortable with them. I believe that friendship is one of the most important values in human life. We exchange new ideas, find many interesting things about each other and experience new things. I appreciate friendship and people who surround me.
More about my background. I was born in Danao City. Danao is located about 50 kilometers north of the city of Mactan which is 8th most safiest city in the Philippines. I spent my first 16 years of life in Danao. The city is famous for their white beaches. My everyday activities includes going to school, listening to mellow-drama music, watching television, and experimenting in cooking.
I spend my first 16 year of life in Danao before moving here in Manila on August 23, 2007 with my family. I started going to Caloocan Comprehensive High School as a sophomore and was enrolled in ESL program for a year. While in secondary education I focused on achieving my goals including learning English language, participating in extracurricular activities, and doing well in all my classes. In my junior year, I had joined Math club, and also enrolled in few honor classes. Along with school, I also found a part time job at a local restaurant to help my parents financially. Moving to a new place and settling there (here) was a huge challenge for me and my family.
Who am I looking for? If your favorite cartoon character is Mickey Mouse, there is a good chance that we just won't get along. Don't take that the wrong way; Mickey just really annoys me. I guess the man that I am looking for is someome who is looking forward to a long-term relationship. He isn't afraid to scale a rock face with me, won't get aggravated when I lead us 200 miles in the wrong direction, and will laugh when I say something unintentionally stupid. There was a time when I used to volunteer with the community extension program. Somehow I fell out of it so it would be great to meet someone who does volunteer work to help me get back into it. At the end of the day, I am just hoping to meet a man who can discuss the world around him, and is looking for more than just a date, and will cuddle on the couch and laugh at DVDs with me.
